Since I was a child I have been fascinated by nature and the way it works. I was driven by a great curiosity and interest about the nightsky. I read dozens of astronomy books before been able to understand them and spent many nights gazing the moon, stars, planets, etc.
Birds, Plants, Trees, Animals, and specially european wild orquidees, Music and Consciousnes, became also very interesting to me (and still are)

I studied Astrophysics and Theoretical Physics, and made research for 5 years at the Theoretical Physics department, University of Zaragoza, Spain. Also worked as a researcher in the Complex Systems Group, British Telecom Company, England (2004).
Author of 16 scientific papers and active participation in several conferences and seminars, I explored, in summary, these topics:

Astrophysics.
Global Climate models.
Numerical models of fracture: fiber-bundle models, colliding cascade models.
Fractas, Cellular automata models and Self Organized Criticality: growth models, patterns of seismicity, earthquake forecasting.
Statistical analysis of Lightning data.
Hazard analysis (Iberian Peninsula).
Synchronization in complex networks.
Information spreading in Complex Networks.

My main scientific present interests are Complex Systems, Consciousness Studies and Scientific Ontology
